The RAH Band have had a good month signing four great deals that will be music to all RAH Band fans.
All of their past albums will soon be available for purchase from all leading digital download sites worldwide after brokering a deal with an aggregatorin Germany. It will mean that MYSTERY, RAH , GOING UP, PAST PRESENT & FUTURE and THE CRUNCH & BEYOND will be available for the first time in over 20 years.
Also, The RAH Band will be releasing 'THE RAH BAND DEFINITIVE COLLECTION' on CD which will be for sale in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. To promote this album, The RAH Band's new single 'LIVING FOR THE NITELIFE' will be released. for a preview of the song click here LIVING FOR THE NITELIFE
To cap off a great month, a remix of MESSAGES FROM THE STARS will be released by Mantis Records and available on Vinyl. Check this space for more news on this next month.
Composer GARRY JUDD is currently working on the documentary KNUT & THE POLAR BEAR which is about a Polar Bear being kept in Berlin Zoo. This Doc will be ready for MIPCOM.
MATT NORMAN meanwhile, is working on the documentary NORTH SEA ADVENTURES for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC. This documents the lives and times of people who work in the North Sea.

Composers GARRY JUDD, MATT NORMAN and PHIL GUYLER all have TV programmes that they wrote theme and incidental music for currently showing on UK TV.
- GARRY JUDD has TRINNY & SUSANNAH UNDRESS THE NATION, ROBBIE COLTRANE: B-ROAD BRITAIN and AIRLINE USA all showing on the ITV Network. While starting on FIVE on Monday August 5th, 7.30pm, HIGHLAND EMERGENCY starts its 30 episode run.
- MATT NORMAN has a number of wildlife documentaries showing on the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC CHANNEL and ANIMAL PLANET, namely HUMPBACKS: BREAKING THE CODE, THE BANDITS OF SELOUS and 21st CENTURY SHARK.
- PHILIP GUYLER also has a couple of high profile programmes showing on ITV and BBC. DAILY COOKS CHALLENGE with Anthony Worrell Thompson is in the middle of a 45 part run on ITV1 while HELICOPTER HEROES is showing on BBC1
Licenses continue to flood in for RAH Band tracks across Europe, securing deals with record companies in Germany, Sweden, UK and Holland.

With summer being cancelled for the time being, what a great time for SUNDAE CLUB to release their aptly titled album BRITISH SUMMERTIME. It is a fantastic collection of vocal and instrumental tracks which is a great follow-on from their first album TECHNOSTALGIA. Please click here to listen to three tracks. It is also building up to be a busy time on TV for AJA composers. GARRY JUDD has programmes, AIRLINE USA being constantly repeated on ITV2 along with MY GREEK KITCHEN on Discovery Travel & Adventure. A new series of TRINNY & SUSANNAH UNDRESS (ITV1) is starting soon and over on BBC1, HELL ON EARTH is scheduled for later in the year. Meanwhile, MATT NORMAN has wildlife documentaries BREAKING THE HUMPBACK CODE, THE BANDITS OF SELOUS and 21st CENTURY SHARK being shown on The National Geographic Channel throughout the world.
The RAH Band have unearthed a gem from their archive that is currently attracting attention on YouTube and Myspace. It is the 2005 remix of THE CRUNCH, but this time with vocals!. It's called EYE IN THE SKY and can be listened to here.
AJA have recently secured SUNDAE CLUB non-exclusive representation with GERARD TALBOT LICENSING in the USA who will be promoting tracks to TV and film projects. AJA have also facilitated a deal for The RAH Band catalogue to be represented by the Dutch company HIGH FASHION in Benelux. Spring is here at last!
The warm weather has brought-in some interesting commissions and licenses for AJA. Garry Judd has been commissioned to write music for HIGHLAND RESCUE. This is a 30x30min Granada Factual series for FIVE which documents the activities of the mountain rescue, police and ambulance services of the Scottish Highlands. This is due for broadcast in the Autumn of 2008.
Meanwhile, Matt Norman has been commissioned to write music for 21st CENTURY SHARK, a wildlife documentary for Animal Planet. This film is to be recorded in HD with Matt using his 5.1 surround sound skills to produce a powerful score.
The RAH Band continue their renaissance, having licensed the track ELECTRIC FLING to German label MUSIC THEME LICENSING for the album ELECTRIC ROCK DISCO. Also, SONY BMG (Netherlands) have licensed CLOUDS ACROSS THE MOON for the forthcoming album GRAND 12 INCHES VOL.5. Finally, look out for a re-mix of MESSAGES FROM THE STARS due to be released onto old skool vinyl later this year.

- The first quarter of 2008 has been a busy time for AJA. As well as completing commissons for BBC1, ITV1 and National Geographic, we have started to represent composers Hargreaves & Lea and also the music of the SUNDAE CLUB in the area of Track Synchronisation.
- Here are a few 'Hidden Gem' tracks that are available for synchronisation that we represent:-
THE CRUNCH by The RAH Band - a track 1st released in 1977 and reached No.6 in the charts. The master has been hiding in Richard Hewson's shed for the last 30 years. We dusted it down, released it on iTunes and is currently doing well. It is a track that obviously influenced bands such as Goldfrapp etc.. This is the first time it has been actively pitched for Sync .... take a listen, it may well spark a memory or two.
CLOUDS CROSS THE MUSIC by THE RAH BAND - Again, the master has been dusted down and is currently doing extremely well on iTunes. It is a track that is held in many people's hearts .... Once again, this hasn't been actively pitched before ... so go take a listen
BEECHLEAVES By THE SUNDAE CLUB - This is the happiest track I have ever heard! ... please take a listen and I can guarantee that you will be smiling within 10 seconds! ... go on, give it a whirl.
CONSTANT RAINCHECK by The SUNDAE CLUB ... again, a happy happy track ..... this track needs an advert!
GARRY JUDD has now completed work on the HELL ON EARTH project for BBC1. The series is due for broadcast soon and is the account of a group of people attempting to survive in the hottest place on earth. 
OUND on white label. The track is really doing well in the clubs entering the DMC commerical club chart straight in at No.8. It has also reached No.6 in the Music Week Commerical Club Chart. AJA are currently looking to license the track for commerical release. click
